The Omen 32x features a 31.5-inch 4K IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, 400-nit peak brightness, and DisplayHDR 400 with Dolby Vision. It supports 95% of the Display P3 and 99% of the sRGB colour gamut and offers G-Sync and FreeSync Premium compatibility. Connectivity options include a DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1 ports, a 65W USB-C Power Delivery port, two USB-A 2.0 ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, and four built-in 3W speakers. An ethernet jack adds further versatility.
What sets the Omen 32x apart is its Google TV integration. Similar to platforms like Chromecast and select Sony and Hisense TVs, it provides personalized content recommendations and supports Google Assistant voice commands. Users can cast content from supported mobile apps, offering functionality beyond most smart monitors, such as LG’s MyView and Samsung’s M series, which focus more on productivity.
The Omen 32x introduces unique features, including native support for simultaneous streaming to four platforms — such as Twitch, YouTube, and Instagram — without extra hardware. It allows for dual webcam streams alongside screen content. Additionally, users can mirror Android devices in desktop mode within a multiview window and leverage wireless KVM functionality to control all devices with a single keyboard and mouse.
HP is also updating its G2 monitor lineup for 2025, including the $479.99 Omen 34c G2, a 34-inch WQHD curved ultrawide display with FreeSync Premium, DisplayHDR 400, and a 4,000:1 contrast ratio. The new 27-inch monitors include the $249.99 1080p Omen 27 G2 (May), $299.99 QHD Omen 27q G2 (April), and $449.99 QHD 27qs G2 (June).
These models benefit from factory colour calibration and boosted refresh rates up to 180Hz, with the 27qs G2 boasting an IPS Black display, a 280Hz refresh rate, and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio for improved colour accuracy and contrast.
