While visually reminiscent of popular smart bassinets like the Snoo, Revol differentiates itself with unique features, including vertical motion that gently raises and lowers the mattress.
However, the true innovation lies within its integrated monitoring system. An array of sensors, including millimetre-wave radar, accurately tracks the baby’s heart rate and respiration. Environmental sensors monitor temperature, humidity, and air quality, while computer vision algorithms detect potential hazards, such as blankets or toys near the baby’s face.
This comprehensive data is seamlessly transmitted to a companion app, providing parents with real-time insights and detailed health reports.
While Revol promises to revolutionize infant care, its availability remains uncertain. Bosch plans to prioritize the Chinese market, with a US launch anticipated in 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
The company has tentatively set a price point of around $1200. To enhance value, Bosch plans to offer add-ons that transform the bassinet into a changing table and a desk, extending its utility beyond infancy.
