Sony is set to release new Chroma console covers for the PlayStation 5 Slim, available in vibrant pearl, indigo, and teal shades. For those who want a fully coordinated setup, matching DualSense controllers will also be available.

The Chroma console covers are priced at $64.99 USD, while the DualSense controllers will retail for $79.99. Sony plans to launch the Chroma pearl and indigo versions on November 7th, with the teal colour following on January 23, 2025. While these new designs are certainly eye-catching, their bold appearance might not appeal to everyone—especially for those who prefer the more subdued blue, red, or grey options already available for the PS5 Slim.
Preorders for the Chroma covers and controllers will open on October 3rd, and they’ll be available in several countries, including the US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Additionally, Sony will begin preorders for the 30th Anniversary editions of the PS5 and PS5 Pro on September 26th. These special consoles feature the classic colour scheme of the original 1995 PlayStation, but it’s still unclear whether Sony will offer those retro grey covers as standalone purchases.
