Sony Interactive Entertainment has unveiled its Black Friday 2023 deals, available from November 17 to 30, encompassing discounts on PlayStation hardware and games. In South Africa, the standalone PlayStation 5 console with a disc drive will be priced at R11,999, reflecting a 12% savings of R1,700. The Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Bundle, including custom side panels, a unique DualSense controller, and a Spider-Man 2 digital game download, will see a marked reduction of R2,700, equating to a 17% discount off its regular R15,999 price.
Another Spider-Man 2 Bundle, featuring a standard PS5 console and the game, will be available at a R2,000 discount from its usual cost. This bundle typically retails for R14,999 with the standard console and R13,099 with the digital-only system.
PlayStation peripherals will also be on offer, with discounted prices on DualSense charging stations (R499, normally R599), DualSense Controllers (R1,299, normally R1,499), and Pulse 3D wireless headsets (R1,499, normally R1,899).
Sony will extend discounts to numerous exclusive games for PS4 and PS5 during this period. Notable deals include Gran Turismo 7 for PS5 at R799, God of War: Ragnarok for PS5 at R899, and Horizon Forbidden West for PS4 and PS5 at R699.
