Uber Eats has introduced a new feature that allows users to combine items from two different types of merchants, such as restaurants, takeout outlets, liquor stores, or convenience stores, into a single order.

This multi-store ordering feature enables the addition of items from two nearby merchants, regardless of their category. Previously, Uber only permitted the bundling of items from different convenience stores. Notably, there are no extra delivery fees on top of the standard charges for ordering from a single outlet.
Uber stated, “This builds upon earlier testing of ways to add items to an order — and brings a major expansion in the stores and restaurants available for bundling.”
Whether customers want to pair gelato with their pizza or mix Thai food with tacos, they can now create a customized cart featuring items from various Uber Eats merchants and have them all delivered together.
To combine items from multiple merchants, users need to first select the items they want from one merchant. At the bottom of their screen, they will find the option to “Bundle another store,” which will display nearby stores where they can add additional items.
Currently, this multi-order feature is exclusively available in the United States, and there is no official announcement regarding its expansion to other countries. Uber has a history of introducing new features in the US before gradually rolling them out to other regions.
