The Coca-Cola Company has introduced a new flavoured beverage as part of its Coca-Cola Creations line, but what sets this creation apart is that it was entirely developed by artificial intelligence.
Named Coca-Cola Y3000 Zero Sugar, this unique drink was the brainchild of AI. Coca-Cola is inviting consumers to embark on a journey to taste and imagine the future with this limited-edition beverage and an innovative AI-powered experience.
According to Coca-Cola, “Coca-Cola Y3000 Zero Sugar was created by artificial intelligence by understanding how fans envision the future through emotions, aspirations, colours, flavours, and more. Fans’ perspectives from around the world, combined with insights gathered from artificial intelligence, helped inspire Coca-Cola to create the unique taste of Y3000.”
The packaging of this novel beverage boasts a futuristic aesthetic with a light-toned colour palette featuring violet, magenta, and cyan set against a silver base.
“We hope that Coca-Cola will still be as relevant and refreshing in the year 3000 as it is today, so we challenged ourselves to explore the concept of what a Coke from the future might taste like—and what kind of experiences would a Coke from the future unlock? The ‘Real Magic’ brand platform celebrates unexpected connections that make the ordinary extraordinary, so we intentionally brought human intelligence and A.I. together for an uplifting expression of what Coca-Cola believes tomorrow will bring,” added Coca-Cola.
Customers who acquire this innovative drink can scan a unique QR code on the packaging, which will transport them to the Coca-Cola Creations Hub. Here, they can use the custom Y3000 AI Cam to envision how their current reality might appear in the future, providing a delightful and imaginative experience.
