TweetDeck is now XPro. The new name was announced by Elon Musk, the owner of X, the company formerly known as Twitter. The XPro name is already visible on the TweetDeck website, but there are still some vestiges of the old brand, such as the Twitter bird logo and the tagline “a powerful, real-time tool for people who live on Twitter.”

The company has said that XPro will eventually become a subscriber-only benefit, but that change has not yet been implemented. In the meantime, the long-awaited TweetDeck Preview is now available as TweetDeck 2.0. The full X rebranding is slowly rolling out across the platform, including on the company’s Android and iOS apps. A giant, flashing X logo was briefly added to the top of the X headquarters in San Francisco before being dismantled.

Here are some additional details about the XPro rebrand:

  • The XPro name is more in line with the company’s new branding, which emphasizes the letter “X.”
  • The XPro Terms page now includes a link to the TweetDeck Preview Program.
  • The company’s support account has said that XPro will only be available for those who pay to be verified “in 30 days.”
  • The full X rebranding is still in progress, but it is slowly rolling out across the platform.
