German publication WinFuture claims to have received marketing renderings of the upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 and 6 Classic models. The images suggest that Samsung has enlarged the OLED displays slightly by reducing the bezels surrounding them.

From the alleged renders, it is evident that the Watch 6’s display extends closer to the edges of its physical watch face compared to its predecessor, the Watch 5.

WinFuture reiterates that the Watch 6 is expected to be available in two dial sizes: 40mm and 44mm. Furthermore, it appears that the Galaxy Watch 6 series will continue to incorporate Sapphire glass, offering protection against dust and scratches, as seen in its predecessor.

The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is set to reintroduce the rotating bezel, a feature that was missed by users since the Watch 4 Classic. This version of the series is speculated to come in 43mm and 47mm variants. WinFuture notes that the area surrounding the watch’s display is slightly wider compared to previous iterations, which aligns with previously leaked renders showcasing more prominent bezels.

The German outlet also speculates that there will be a wide range of colour options available for consumers. Leaks suggest that black, silver, and beige colourways may be offered for the Galaxy Watch 6, while the Watch 6 Classic could feature black and silver options. Additional colours planned by Samsung for the Classic version remain undisclosed.

Evan Blass subsequently leaked three marketing images of the Galaxy Watch 6 series, providing a closer look at various watch faces and confirming the slimmer bezel design. These rumoured marketing renders also offer a detailed glimpse of the Watch 6 Classic.

The leaked images hint at the arrival of new colour options for the wearables later this summer, supporting WinFuture’s speculation.

As the launch approaches, the Galaxy Watch 6 recently obtained Bluetooth certification, revealing information about its potential new Exynos W930 processor. WinFuture suggests that this new system-on-a-chip (SoC) will be present in both models of the Watch 6 series. While the performance improvements brought by the chip might not be ground-breaking, rumours suggest it could enhance overall performance by approximately 10%.

Previous leaks have hinted at a larger 1.47-inch display for the Galaxy Watch 6, likely influenced by the narrower bezels showcased in the recent renderings. Meanwhile, the 40mm variant is expected to feature a 1.31-inch screen when it becomes available.

The leaked images and details have generated excitement among consumers eagerly awaiting the launch of the Galaxy Watch 6 series, offering a glimpse of the expected design updates and potential enhancements in performance.
