One of the standout features is Adaptive Mode, which combines the Transparency and Noise Cancelling modes found in the AirPods Pro models. This new mode not only reduces surrounding sounds but also prevents unnecessary background audio from interfering with your calls. Additionally, Personalized Volume is being introduced, learning your audio preferences and adjusting them based on your habits and surroundings over time.
AirPods Pro will also receive Conversation Awareness, which automatically lowers the volume of playing audio and amplifies voices around you while minimizing background noise. Another convenient addition is the new mute function, allowing you to quickly mute yourself with a simple tap on an earbud. Apple is also refining the continuity functionality on AirPods to make switching between Apple devices even more seamless.
Apart from software upgrades for AirPods, Apple has made notable changes to the AirPlay experience and Apple Music. When entering a room with compatible devices while playing audio, you will receive a notification prompting you to seamlessly switch to the appropriate audio device, such as a HomePod mini.
For frequent travellers, Apple is introducing the ability to AirPlay content to devices in hotels. As for Apple Music, the experience is becoming more inclusive, enabling your friends to join in on a listening session and add their own tracks when using CarPlay.
With these new features and improvements, Apple is further enhancing the functionality and convenience of its AirPods, providing an enriched audio experience for users both on the move and in various environments.
