Volocopter, a German urban air mobility company, has conducted the first successful test flight of its electric VoloConnect flying taxi. It is an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, and is intended for business people and commuters who wish to travel between city centres and suburban areas while avoiding routes with high amounts of road traffic.
