Razer’s concept N95 mask naturally has Chroma RGB LEDs

Right, let’s get one thing straight. If you’re a pro gamer and you regularly make pro gamer moves, you’re definitely going to require a pro gamer mask. Of course, that itself will involve the Razer brand as well as a hearty dose of RGB LED lighting to prove your social status.

The good news, however, doesn’t end there. Under the badge of Project Hazel, Razer has committed to crafting what it calls the world’s ‘smartest’ mask; a reusable N95 respirator that’s made out of waterproof and scratch-resistant plastic in a transparent frame intended to assist with lip reading and acknowledging facial cues.

Project Hazel would feature two circular vents designed to filter air that’s breathed while also scrubbing CO2 breathed out. Just in case you’ve got the same burning question that we do, Razer has claimed that Project Hazel would filter 95% of airborne particles including COVID-19. Now, we just need to get everyone to wear one.

Razer has furthermore clarified that the mask’s ventilators are deatchable and rechargeable, though the marque has yet to comment on how long each unit will last for. However, the company has teased that users would be able to monitor each ventilator’s lifespan through an accompanying mobile app.

Lastly – and perhaps most significantly – the mask would feature amplifiers housed within the ventilator so users can have their moment as Darth Vader, and enjoy their booming voice reach the corner of each room (not really). However, there is a loose connection there in the sense that Razer is working with THX sound to balance the speaker’s volume.

Finally, the mask would be housed in a large charging case and would be sterilized by UV light when not in use.
