Watch: Sony PlayStation 5 games event live stream

The day has finally come that Sony will reveal games we can expect when the new PlayStation 5 console launches before the end of the year. You can watch the company’s live stream event that starts at 10PM SA time below.

We may get a glimpse of the anticipated console for the first time during this event. Sony has been very careful to not reveal the design of the device, but did give us an early look at the new DualSense controller.

According to Sony they will give us “a first look at the games you’ll be playing after PlayStation 5 launches this holiday.” The event will be an hour long, so we may get more information than just what games to expect.

Of course, we can expect some gameplay and graphics showcases. Unfortunately the stream was pre-recorded so we won’t be able to view it in the native 4K resolution, and it will also be limited to 30fps.

They also recommend that you use headphones when viewing the event, as “there’s some cool audio work in the show, and it might be harder to appreciate if it’s pumped through your phone or laptop speakers.”
