Nedbank has announced the launch of its free online “super app”, called Avo for its banking customers. Also referred to as “your new lifestyle and lockdown companion”
In a nutshell, What is Avo?
In a statement released by Nedbank, Avo is a super app, bringing customers and businesses together, accurately matching customer’s lifestyle needs to product and service offerings through powerful artificial intelligence, safe and secure payments, and bank-grade security.
Why is it a “super app”?
Avo offers multiple #SuperPowers on one platform, including:
- Online shopping for groceries and food: partnering with OneCart, Nedbank allows its customers to buy groceries from leading retailers in one delivery or browse the Avo Shop for essential items at the best prices
- Essential professional home services : The app is very handy in case of home emergencies and to find the right one
- Digital home entertainment: Avo will keep Nedbank’s customers well entertained during lockdown, with access to Showmax to Tidal, Deezer and more
- Avo reward points: The app has a built-in rewards system, which allows users to earn 1% in Avo Points on every transaction made through the platform.
- Business listing: Nedbank said it will allow businesses to list for free on the app. This will allow them to reach more potential customers, communicate easily, send quotations and receive payments in-app.
- Need a top up? Get airtime, data and electricity bundles through the platform, and always stay connected!
