Prolific leaker Evan Blass has shared new reported images of Huawei’s Mate 10 – revealing the company’s first handset with a near bezel-less display.
While we loved Huawei’s P10, the smartphone debuted earlier this year to mix in a crowd of smartphones moving towards near bezel-less displays; and now it seems that the Chinese company is set to throw its own challenger into the ring with the Mate 10.
New renders, shared by notorious smartphone leaker Evan Blass, have revealed a potential Mate 10 that brings with it a far smaller bottom chin, top forehead, and side bezels – leaving room for a far greater screen-to-body ratio.

The Mate 10 is anticipated to arrive with Huawei’s new Kirin 970 chipset that will support both a faster dual-camera array and artificial intelligence suite similar to Apple’s A11 Bionic chipset.
The device is expected to debut with EMUI atop Android 8.0 Oreo, and more generally is said to include a 5.9″ display, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of expandable internal storage.

It is expected that the Mate 10 will once again return to the market with a Leica-made dual camera setup, though it remains to be seen whether the handset will iterate on the array found aboard the Huawei P10 or offer something substantially different.
Renders have further illustrated that the device may return with a front-facing fingerprint scanner in lieu of the rear unit that has previously adorned the Mate series.
