Samsung's dual-camera Galaxy Note 8 gets pictured in Midnight Black, Maple Gold

Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy Note 8 has been revealed in an apparent leak, picturing the handset in both Maple Gold and Midnight Black.

Samsung’s Galaxy S8 wowed us for its amazing display and left us disappointed thanks to a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and now it appears that the company’s forthcoming Galaxy Note 8 will continue both of those trends thanks to a new leak courtesy of Evan Blass.
Blass tweeted three new images this morning that have pictured Samsung’s upcoming phablet in all its glory – revealing that the device will be the first flagship Galaxy device to benefit from a dual-camera array. Earlier leaks have suggested that the Note 8 will benefit from a standard and telephoto lens pairing – the latter of which will apparently accommodate 3x optical zoom.

The Note 8 is expected to carry a 2160 x 4428 display, and we expect the handset to be powered by either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 or Samsung’s own Exynos 8895 chipset.

The handset will iterate on the near-borderless design first promulgated by the Galaxy S8, and will apparently service a slightly broader form factor in line with previous Note devices. Accordingly, the handset will see the return of the S-Pen, though it remains uncertain if Samsung’s stylus will benefit from any new hardware improvements.
The Galaxy Note 8 will have its work cut out for it at launch – the arrival of the handset will mark nearly one year since Samsung first debuted the explosive Galaxy Note 7, and the handset could arrive all but a month before Apple announces its anniversary iPhone in the form of the iPhone 8 or iPhone Edition.
