New reports indicate that Apple is preparing to unleash a bevvy of new iPad models in addition to a red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus model in March this year.
Apple’s March event has traditionally been used to show off just where the iPad line is going, and new reports have seemingly confirmed that 2017 will be no different.
According to Japanese news website Mac Otakara, Apple is working to totally revitalize its iPad Pro lineup with not three models (as was previously reported) but four.

Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities has previously predicted that a new 10.5? iPad Pro model will employ a near-bezeless screen as a precursor of what is to follow with 2017’s iPhone model, while both a new 12.9? and the 10.5? model in question will utilize an A10X chipset; a more powerful version of the silicon found on the iPhone 7.
A new 9.7? model, however, would reportedly make use of a modified A9 chip, while a smaller 7.9″ iPad Pro would replace the aging iPad Mini 4.
Among those announcements would reportedly be the revelation of a new, red model iPhone 7 and 7 Plus which would sell alongside the black, jet black, silver and rose gold options that are presently available.
Traditionally, Apple has sold red iPhones, though the offering has been restricted in support of (PRODUCT) RED, the charity which oversees the fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa.
