A new leak has revealed the innards of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 7, indicating a largely similar spec sheet apart from a new UI named ‘Grace’.
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 7 (yes, they’ve decided to skip the number 6) has been subjected to numerous leaks, though we now have our hands on what appears to be the largest yet thanks to Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin.
The new leak reports that the Galaxy Note 7 will come equipped with 6GB of RAM, a 5.8″ screen size, Micro-SD support, iris recognition, and a water resistant coating.

The Note 7 is further tipped to include a 3,600mAh battery, and might include either a Snapdragon 820 processor or a Samsung-made Exynos 8890 unit.
The most interesting piece of information surrounding what exactly the Galaxy Note 7 comes in the form of its UI. Up until now, we’ve seen Samsung’s smartphones come equipped with TouchWiz, it’s default Android skin.
TouchWiz drew controversy alongside earlier Galaxy devices for the impact and drain it exerts on an Android device. Over the past few years, Samsung have worked to reduce the weight of TouchWiz and have ceased referring to it by that name entirely.
Now, the Galaxy Note 7 is tipped to come equipped with ‘Grace’ UI; a supposed re-imagining of TouchWiz. Presently, it is unknown as to whether Grace UI will function differently to TouchWiz, as it appears to look incredibly similar to its forebear in images seen thus far.
Rumours indicate that Grace UI will retain an app drawer, and will incorporate a cleaner interface with black and white hues.
Recently, it was reported that Google was working alongside Samsung to streamline TouchWiz, and speculation posits that Grace UI could be the offspring of that partnership.
