With the news that Apple could be set to release the iPhone SE imminently, another report cites that the company is secretly working on an iPhone Pro.
We’ll admit we’re still rather baffled as to who will end up purchasing the iPad Pro, but if new rumours are to be believed, Apple’s behemoth tablet could soon be joined by an iPhone Pro.
According to KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo, who has thus far been instrumental in sharing reports on the forthcoming iPhone SE, Apple is planning to release a high-end iPhone 7 Plus with dual cameras that will be named ‘iPhone Pro’. Read: iPhone SE price could be set between $400-500 USD
Kuo has cited that Apple’s plan is to diversify both its iPad and iPhone lineups, with the next iPad Air reportedly destined to be branded as a smaller iPad Pro.
An iPhone Pro could be unveiled towards the end of the year at Apple’s traditional September event, and could feature not only a dual-camera setup but additionally a water resistant body as well as doing away with a protruding camera, antenna bands, and a headphone jack.
