Samsung Charm is the company's 'lifestyle band'

The Samsung Charm is the newest product to be unveiled by the Korean company, and is designed to be a budget fitness tracker.

The LG G5 may have ‘friends’, but it would appear Samsung’s new lineup will have ‘lifestyle accessories’ – best exemplified with the company’s quiet announcement of the Samsung Charm fitness tracker.
Joining the company’s existing lineup, not least of which is the flagship Gear S2 smartwatch, the Samsung Charm is curiously positioned as a “new type of wearable” which ironically brings nothing new to the table.

As far as functionality extends, the Charm is designed to compete with the affordable Xiaomi Mi Band, as well as against the Misfit Flash.
The Charm sports a ‘minimal jewelry design’, and is available in three colour options – Rose Quartz, black, and gold.
Presently, Samsung have revealed little on what the Charm’s eventual retail pricing will be, and have instead teased that the unit will offer Bluetooth synchronization to Galaxy smartphones and will track distance walked and calories burned with an expected battery live of 18 days.
