FlexEnable's bendable display can wrap around your wrist

We’ve previously seen efforts in creating a bendable display from LG and Samsung, and now the FlexEnable bendable display can wrap around your wrist.

LG might have thrown its foot in the door with its rollable OLED panel, but a certain English company have presented what looks to be the most advanced application of the technology yet with the FlexEnable bendable display.
The FlexEnable prototype makes use of plastic transistors to achieve flexibility, creating what the company has dubbed OLCD (organic liquid crystal display) technology. FlexEnable cites that these screens can achieve the same resolutions as LCD displays using the same amount of power, while bending all the while.

The transistors can be wrapped around anything – including one’s wrist – and can be supplemented by FlexEnable’s flexible fingerprint sensors.
One frame visible at MWC was encased in a stiff metal frame with the view of acting as a wrist-worn wearable; encased in the frame, the display is still able to flex.
What are your thoughts on the FlexEnable bendable display? Could we see flexible smartphones (and not as with the LG G Flex series) in the future? Let us know in the comments below!
