The Mi 5 is now posited to include a Snapdragon 820 chipset, alongside a 3,000mAh battery, 16 and 4 megapixel camera split, and a 5.2″ QHD display.
Xiaomi’s own Vice President of International, Hugo Barra, has previously teased the device’s image quality through an unaltered snap taken in the device’s HDR mode.
A leaked retail box sticker further mentions NFC support, USB Type-C support, and all but confirms fingerprint recognition.
Presently, it is known how much RAM or storage space the Mi 5 will over versus the Mi 4’s 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
