Alcatel accidentally leaks the Idol 4, Idol 4S

Ahead of their official reveal, the Alcatel Idol 4 and 4s have been accidentally leaked across the internet thanks to an ill-time product page release.

If we had a cent for every time an up and coming product was released thanks to a social media or web gaffe, we’d be rich. New victims are the Alcatel Idol 4 and Idol 4s, which have been accidentally revealed in a product information page accidentally released ahead of time.
We loved the Alcatel Idol X from our hands on time at AfricaCom last year, and the Idol 4 and 4s are have been cast from the same clay. Both phones will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow, while the Idol 4 will bring a 5.2″ 1080p screen, with a 2,160mAh battery, 2GB of RAM, and 13 and 8 megapixel cameras, while the 4S WILL SPORT A 5.5″ QHD display and 3GB of RAM with a 16/8 megapixel camera setup.

Both phones will allegedly make use of Snapdragon’s 617 chipset – a change from earlier product rumours which posited that both handsets would arrive carrying the Snapdragon 652 chipset instead.
