Swiftkey for Android brings new emoji

Swiftkey for Android’s latest update brings all of the new 6.0.1 emojis to the operating system, ahead of Swype and other competing keyboards

We’ve long loved Swiftkey for Android, and now a new update to the third-party keyboard brings something we’ve been itching to use on Android: all of the new 6.0.1 emoji.
The new emoji, which add 48 new emoticons to the present set of 184, bring new ways to share meaning in messages, including icons of not only a middle finger, but a lion face and a man in a business suit levitating – as, you know, men in business suits tend to do.

However, those amongst us who wish to use the new emoji will first have to update to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow – and few Android phones at present are eligible to make the jump to the latest version of Google‘s mobile operating system.
Swiftkey is the first third party keyboard to bring new set of Emojis, ahead of competitor keyboard app Swype.
