Following the Nexus 6P and 5X, Google has tipped the production of HTC Nexus devices as the next in line, which will return to 5 and 5.5″ screen sizes.
If you felt that the Nexus 6P and 5X were too large for your taste, an upcoming set of HTC Nexus devices might be for you: Google has apparently tipped the company to produce two new smartphones at smaller sizes. HTC, which has not formally acknowledged the possibility of producing such devices, has been indicated by tipsters across the internet as to be the sole manufacturer of two new Nexus smartphones. Traditionally, Google – who prefers to produce devices at the epicentre of business networks and ventures – splits the workload across two or more manufacturers, though it would seem HTC, if rumours are true, would be the sole manufacturer of Nexus devices this time around.
HTC will allegedly produce two smaller Nexus handsets at 5.0″ and 5.5″ inches respectively, which is smaller than the 5.7″ 6P and 5.2″ 5X Huawei and LG released in 2015.
Presently, the rumour is at odds with another – that Huawei could return to build another Nexus smartphone this year.
