Following rumours surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S7’s full specifications, we take a look at pre-release images of the device have leaked.
Last week’s news saw rumours suggest that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S7 is set to bring a curvier Edge model and a powerful Exynos processor, the latest set of leaks out of the company have shown us images of what might be our first look at the S7’s outward appearance.
Images of the alleged flagship, posted onto Weibo, supposedly show the chassis of the upcoming phone, citing what is displayed as a “not yet released flagship phone”.
The chassis depicted in both images, if legitimate, will mean we won’t see a drastic change in departure from Samsung’s new design language, as the model resembles the Galaxy S6 which preceded it.
The model shown, which is gold, would indicate Samsung intend to retain its white, gold, black and blue colour offerings.
Speculation earlier this month posited that the S7 is expected to carry a either a new Samsung-made Exynos 8890 processor or a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
What are your thoughts on the leaked images of the alleged S7 chassis? Has Samsung set a bold enough trajectory to see the company’s Galaxy models once again become a success? Be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
