While Amazon get ready to launch the new car show with former Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, they are taking full advantage of having the personalities on their payroll. Jeremy Clarkson has been utilised in a new ad showing the new generation Amazon Air Prime drones which will be making deliveries to you within 30 minutes.
In fact, they have promised a “whole family” of drones for different purposes within Prime Air, and outlined how the drones will navigate this bold new world in the advert (also check out Netflix’s parody of the service).
All you’d have to do is place your order and plunk down a marker to tell the drone where to land. From there, the robot would use its mix of horizontal and vertical propellers to ferry your cargo in 30 minutes or less. You’d even get a heads-up when the drone is close, so you wouldn’t have to worry about someone swiping your package the moment it arrives.
