Rumour: Huawei readying P9, P9 Max

While we expected Huawei’s Mate S was the last smartphone we might see from the Chinese company this year, a new report has indicated that the firm is now readying two sequels to the P8; the P9 and P9 Max.
According to rumour, the P9 is expected to arrive boasting a larger screen than the P8, totalling in at 5.5 inches and boasting an impressive 2560×1600 resolution.
Further, the P9 is expected to be powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 950, which according to early benchmarks is nearly twice as powerful than the Snapdragon 810.
The P9 is expected to carry a massive 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage.
The P9 Max is expected to feature a 6.8 inch screen, which in terms of size places the device on the extreme end of the phablet spectrum.
While none of these rumours have yet been confirmed by Huawei, it is expected that further light will be shed on the subject at the company’s November event.
