How much longer can Nokia refuse to acknowledge that it is getting back into the phone business? New reports have leaked the alleged phone, to be called the C1. It will follow the same design language as we saw with the N1 tablet, just shrunken down.
It is set to be Nokia‘s first true Android phone (the forked version of Android running on the Nokia X) The device certainly has a minimalistic look if this is in fact a true leak, which is what we have come to expect from the Finnish company over the years.
Reportedly, the device has a 5-inch, 1080p display with 2GB of RAM accompanying an Atom chip (built by Intel). That means its only standout feature will be the fact that it is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
As it stands, you’ll have to wait a while to try this device (if it’s indeed real). Nokia’s agreement with Microsoft prevents it from competing in the phone space until 2016, so this is more of a sneak peek at the company’s future than a preview of an imminent product.
