It is only a matter of time before the new Nexus (or Nexuses) are announced, but we still know surprisingly little about them. What we do know it LG is reportedly building a smaller 5.2-inch Nexus, while Huawei is building a 5.7-inch Nexus phablet.
We have had very little leaks as to what these devices may look like (other than the alleged Huawei Nexus leak), until now.
This might be the first solid evidence of the existence of an LG Nexus device, with a pretty good look at what we may get.
Size-wise, it appears to line up with the 5.2-inch rumours and also features a rear fingerprint scanner as we expected. Furthermore, we see the dual-LED flash, laser focus and an extremely unsightly camera bulge. More worryingly, there is only plastic as far as the eye can stretch. From the back it is actually reminiscent of old Lumia devices (which had a similar camera bulge).
One positive to come from a fully plastic device is price. Nexus devices was always rather affordable for top-end specs, until the Nexus 6 came along.
We‘ll have to wait and see if this picture is accurate, but if it is, what are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.
