Product leaks out of Apple don‘t happen that often, though the latest indicates that the Cupertino company intends to return its cheapest handset to the market, following much speculation that the company intends to produce either an updated iPhone 5c or new iPhone 6c.

9. New iPhone 6s rumours: 12MP camera, new rose gold model
As the iPhone rumour mill once again begins to turn, new details have emerged pegging a host of improvements over Apple‘s incumbent smartphone, the iPhone 6.
Specifically, rumours pinpoint that the 6s will arrive in a new rose gold colour option, sport a 12 megapixel camera, and carry 2 gigabytes of RAM, among other details.

8. Apple iPhone 6 Plus vs Huawei Mate 7: Apples and oranges
Large smartphones have become extremely common and a massive sub-segment within the smartphone market. Apple is the latest company to get into the phablet game ““ some would say a bit belatedly ““ with the iPhone 6 Plus.

7. Samsung officially launches the Iron-Man Galaxy S6 Edge
The long rumored Marvel Samsung Galaxy S6 is set to arrive. As part of the company‘s partnership with Marvel to take Avengers: Age of Ultron to smartphones, they have produced quite the looker in this Iron Man Galaxy S6 edge.

6. Leaked iOS9 report describes “œForce Touch“ tech
The upcoming iOS9 release has everyone speculating on just how many “œnew“ features we are likely to see. A rumor that seems to be hanging around with regards to the next generation iPhone is the Force Touch feature.
The Force Touch technology is a feature that differentiates between levels of pressure on a display, and a new leaked report might offer a look into how it will be integrated into the upcoming iOS9 operating system.

5. South Africa‘s Internet Freedom under threat!
I‘ve followed stories about the South African media landscape with interest and they are stories that are becoming urgently more relevant to regular South Africans.
The Film and Publication Board ““ an office of the Department of Communication ““ has introduced a Draft Internet Regulation Policy that aims to prevent children having access to porn online as well as the distribution of child porn online.
The problem is that the policy doesn‘t do that. Instead, it effectively becomes a censorship board giving the FPB powers to remove content that has been shared online on international social media platforms (Youtube, Vimeo, Facebook, Vine, Instagram).

4. Microsoft releases Office 2016 Preview
2015 will be a big year for Microsoft. This statement has been reiterated within most presentations at the company‘s annual Build developers conference. They have been working hard to gain customer feedback for all major products that are scheduled for a launch later this year.
Microsoft has already pushed Windows 10 technical previews alongside the Windows 10 mobile previews over the past couple of months. Now its time for another major Microsoft service to show us what it has up its sleeve“¦

3. “˜Top Gear‘ coming to Netflix as “˜House of Cars‘?
Has the BBC made a massive mistake in canning Jeremy Clarkson and shut down Top Gear in all but name? Time will tell, as it is rumoured that the BBC will continue making Top Gear but with three new presenters.
Not only that, but the internet is abuzz with reports that Clarkson, May and Hammond is looking to revive their show (obviously under another name) on another network or broadcasting service.

2. GoPro CEO gives $229 million to his college roommate
Neil Dana basically won the lottery when he ended up being college roomies with Nick Woodman.
Woodman, as some of you may know, is the founder and CEO of the world‘s largest action camera company, GoPro.
However, 10 years ago, Woodman wasn‘t a camera wielding, billionaire CEO when he attended the University of California in San Diego with his friend, Neil Dana. He was simply a young man with a vision.

1. Mango and Microsoft celebrate launch of app with R 1 flights
Low cost airline Mango this week launched its third app, this time for all devices operating Microsoft‘s Windows 8.1 operating system. In celebration of the app launch, the airline has made Windows exclusive fares available from R 1 for a limited time.
Mango was the first African airline to offer a mobi-site and apps allowing bookings, payment and flight management on the go. The Mango app is available for download in all app stores for Android, Apple, Blackberry and Windows 8.1 devices.
