Next week sees Google hosting their annual developers‘ conference with the keynote presentation kicking off events. News and rumors have slowly been building in anticipation of the conference where it’s likely we‘ll be seeing high-profile releases at the conference ““ such as of Android M and other cool and innovative launches.
Many people will be tuning into the goings-on of the IO event. Whether you are lucky enough to be there or following events on line, Google has released their official Google IO 2015 app to keep you in the loop.
The app, just as in previous years, lets you stream key sessions (and most importantly, the keynote) while also allowing you to keep on top of your schedule for the conference‘s various events held throughout the course of I/O. It includes a map of Moscone Center West, so you are lucky enough to be in the US at the conference, you won‘t find yourself lost in the massive structure, and there is a deep tie-in with social networks as well.
It‘s free, as always, to download the I/O app. After the conference ends, Google will upload the source code of this year‘s app separately ““ every year, the company enjoys utilizing the newest in Android developer abilities in creating the I/O app (last year, we saw a hint of Material Design in it before Android “œL“ even became official).
Make sure you download the app from the Play Store before the event starts next week.
