I don’t know about you, but I love me some city building. The launch of SimCity around this time last year was a massive problem for EA, but they have listened to customers and are trying to give them what they want. In that spirit, EA has revealed that an update for the game is now available for download, which will eliminate the need for the game to be connected to the internet at all times.
Not only that, but there is now a split between your single player and multiplayer maps. The server experienced some problems with traffic, but everything is back to normal now. While you wait for your update, check out the quick tutorial on the single player after the break:
