What has always been seen a “˜geek‘ domain has now been made mainstream by the movie industry, pumping out blockbuster after blockbuster. This includes comic books, toys, graphic novels and more recently, video games.
After the success of the LEGO movie released by Warner Brothers, the company is reportedly winding up to create a Minecraft movie. This indie game has seen massive success, turning creator Mark “œNotch“ Persson into a household name within the gaming fraternity. He broke the news on Twitter about his creation receiving the Hollywood treatment.
Many popular properties have been adapted in the last decade, with many of them failing dismally. We hope to see that this movie is a success sometime in the near future.
