As the travel industry gets better acquainted with the tech industry, South African companies are also making their mark on this ever growing market.
Cape Town-based travel tech innovator, Tourism Radio, has recently partnered with German app producer, Yopegu, to create a innovative audio mobile travel guide app.
The app, that is specifically designed for mobile use and aimed at travelers, contains detailed travel guides to 20 well known travel destinations world wide including Paris, New York, Berlin and Rome.
The app features hours of Tourism Radio audio as well as text travel content. While Tourism Radio already produces its own range of audio travel apps, the company believes that the partnership with Yopegu is an excellent opportunity to modernise travel across various distribution channels.
