We have come across a report stating the Samsung will be releasing the follow-up to their first Galaxy Gear smartwatch in March or early April. It will reportedly be held in London as a stand-alone event for the new wearable.
It will (and should) fix all the initial issues with the Galaxy Gear (build or design were not among the problems). Sources site that it will have a flexible LCD display this time around, and we can expect a totally new design. This is actually a space where the flexible display makes sense ““ much more so than with smartphones. Note, the above picture is simply a mock-up of how the device might look.
Another question we have is whether it will be compatible with a wide variety of devices, and not just Samsung‘s own devices. We expect the latter to be true, though, which is a shame.
Do have the Galaxy Gear? What do you think about it?
