Good news for gamers! Rockstar Games has just announced that their ever-popular Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas game will now be available on mobile devices.
The popular game, which has sold more than 27.5 million copies worldwide, has been specifically remastered for it‘s mobile release with full touch controls and improved graphics.
The game features touch controls which include contextual control options that only display the required buttons on the screen when and if the player needs them. Certainly a function that will make mobile gaming much easier.
The San Andreas mobile app also features an updated checkpoint system which will make progression easier and quicker – which will enhance the game tempo, especially on mobile.
It also contains three different control setups for driving.
All of your favourite regions will also be included in the mobile game. Los Santos, Las Venturas and San Fierro will all make their appearance as will the open landscapes in between the regions.
And if you were wondering if the app will really live up to its promises, then apparently so. Rockstar Games have said that this is the best looking version of San Andreas GTA ever. Rockstar promises “œ…[sic]dynamic and detailed shadows, greater draw distance, an enriched colour palette and enhanced character and car models.“
The app will be released on iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle and Windows Mobile in December. No exact dates are available yet. ALso, Apple users need not worry as the game will offer full controller support for iOS 7.
