Bitcoin is now tax-free in Germany

There are parties on both sides of the fence when it comes to Bitcoin. This is nowhere as true as it is when it comes to governments around the world. Some want to outlaw it completely; others want to charge exorbitant tax or transaction fees on it, while others want to ban it completely. To be honest, not many seem to be in favour of the digital currency. Except for Germany, that is.
The country now recognizes Bitcoin as private money that stays tax-free for personal uses, such as non-commercial internet auctions. You’ll only have to pay taxes on business transactions. This might seem like a small step ““ and it is ““ but some see it as an essential step in the right direction for the advocacy of what many believe to be the future of international commerce.
