According to The Verge Microsoft Windows Phone manager Joe Belfiore has revealed the name of Nokia’s 41-megapixel Windows Phone, a device that has not yet been officially announced.
Belfiore posted some images on his Flickr page that were taken using various Windows Phones, two of which show, in the meta data, that the name of the camera used was the Nokia Lumia 1020.
While no actual phone performance details were revealed, one image was listed as having a resolution of 2,947 x 1,658 and the other coming in at 2,352 x 1,568. This information suggests that the upcoming device, that has already been known by many other names, will shoot at different resolutions using the power of its large sensor.
The 41-megapixel camera is expected to be launched at an event on 11th July where Nokia says there are “41 million reasons” to attend the event and see more.
