This is Projecteo. It’s a tiny projector specifically designed to display your favourite Instagram pictures for friends and family without having to pass around your mobile phone or tablet.
Designed by creative technology company, Mint Digital, Projecteo prints your Instagram’s on 35mm film in a wheel (which you make online) that can then be projected onto any wall around so you can have your own private Instagram screening.
So, how do your Instagram pictures become slide film? The images are ‘melted’ on to a single frame of Kodak film, which is then processed in a similar way to how analogue films are developed, except in full colour.
As with many other innovative projects around seeking financial backing, Projecteo is currently featured on Kickstarter and is being very well received by enthusiastic backers having hit the $50, 000 mark.
With a price tag of $25 would you buy a Projecteo for your Instagram pics?
