With just a few weeks to go before the much anticipated official announcement of the iPhone 5, an accessory website, Case-Mate, has revealed some intrigueing images of iPhone 5 cases that will be available to purchase once the new smartphone is launched. The website posted an image of the new iPhone cases on their website for a short period of time before removing it and replacing it with a screen that reads “We’ll have your cases when you have your new iPhone”. It is unknown whether the images are authentic or not but it has certainly given people something to be excited about and add to the list of rumours.
It appears from the image that the iPhone within the cases, available in a variety of colours, has an aliminium back rather than the glass back of the current iPhone 4. The phone seems to be thinner and wider in shape.
So far, a number of rumours have been circulating about the new features of the iPhone 5 including an eight mega-pixel camera, better resolution, a larger screen, full HD video recording, a physical sliding keyboard and a new design inspired by the iPad 2. The Case-Mate site also reports rumours that the new iPhone 5 will have wireless charging and iOS 5 which features iCloud portable storage capabilities.
